Use your favorite route to and from Fair Park, OR use these directions.

First, get to Interstate 30 (I30, also known as R.L. Thornton Freeway, or just RLT), East of Downtown.

If going East (e.g. from downtown), take Exit 48A (78/Grand/Barry/Munger), and turn Right on Barry.

If going West (e.g. from the hotels), take Exit 48B (78/Grand/Winslow), and turn Left on Grand, then Left on Barry (don't go to Barry; can't turn left on Barry from the Westbound access road).

Continue on Barry (following the signs to Starplex) as its name changes to Crosstown Exwy, then to South Fitzhugh. The Opera Center is on the right at the at the foot of the bridge, before you get to Starplex. Turn Right on Gaisford, then an immediate Right into the parking lot, following it around to the North side of the building.

NOTE: There is NO Westbound access to I30 from Barry. When returning, to head West on I30 you must go to the I30 intersection at East Grand. From Barry, either turn Right on East Grand, or go to I30 and turn Right on the access road, following it to East Grand.
