Mild-mannered Monadnock Waldorf School music teacher by day, Nils Fredland becomes the "Mick Jagger of contra dance callers" on nights and weekends. He shares his skill, charisma, grace and goofiness with contra dancers coast to coast every weekend, making him one of the busiest and most sought-after callers in the business. Nils is known for his technical skill, disarming friendliness, comfortable stage presence, deep voice, and trombone playing. He brings this unique collection of traits and talents to each of his calling engagements.
FootLoose is a fun, creative and high energy band. Performing for New England-style contra dances and in concert, FootLoose has become a highly respected and sought after band, playing at numerous festivals and week-long dance camps throughout the United States. As a dance band, the FootLoose sound draws upon Celtic, Quebecois, southern old time, jazz and classical music influences. Although the primary purpose of FootLoose is to rock the socks off of contra dancers, the band also performs English country dance, tango, waltz, hambo, schottische, zwiefacher, and Scottish dance music.

Adults: Entire Weekend: $60 ($70 after March 15)

Friday = $15, Saturday daytime = $25, Saturday night = $15, Sunday = $15
