Joseph Pimentel is a popular caller at dance events from Alaska to Florida. He has been involved in traditional dance since the early 80's, and has been calling Contra Dances since 1995. He draws on a broad repertoire of contra, English country, and community dances, all presented with crisp teaching, discriminating taste, respect for tradition, and high energy. Joseph has written many popular contra dances, and has served on the board of directors of the Country Dance and Song Society. More Info: Joseph Pimentel web site

Maivish makes music with vibrant energy, inspired interplay and abundant delight. Gathering traditions from the British Isles, Ireland, and America with a mix of original compositions, American fiddler Jaige Trudel and British born guitarist Adam Broome are joined by Cedar Stanistreet to create a lilting double-fiddle sound underpinned by lyrical and compelling guitar accompaniment. The name Maivish is an English colloquial term for the Song Thrush.
